JFLEX-5™ is unique joint renewal formula manufactured by World Image Naturals, Inc. Each serving (3 capsules) contains: Glucosamine Sulfate (1050 mg.), Chondroitin Sulfate (750 mg.), MSM (300 mg.), Vitamin C (255 mg.), and Manganese (30 mg.).

Glucosamine Sulfate is a natural substance found in the body that plays an important role in the health and resiliency of cartilage. Cartilage forms the cushions that keep bones from grinding against each other in the joints. Glucosamine spurs the production of more collagen and normalizes cartilage metabolism, which keeps the existing cartilage from breaking down. We lose Glucosamine as we age, causing the cartilage to become thinner. This loss of Glucosamine and thinning of the cartilage may eventually lead to joint problems. Glucosamine, taken as a supplement, is remarkably safe and very well absorbed by the body. Supplemental Glucosamine functions just like that found naturally in the body.

Chondroitin Sulfate is another component of cartilage that has the ability to interfere with the enzymes that break down existing cartilage while supplying the material for the production of new cartilage. It also appears to have anti-inflammatory properties. Glucosamine and Chondroitin work together synergistically to normalize cartilage by stimulating the synthesis of new cartilage and controlling enzymes that destroy the cartilage that is still present. This strengthens the body's natural repair mechanisms and helps the body to actually heal itself.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane)1 is naturally occurring sulfur, which has anti-inflammatory and pain reducing qualities. It is also an ingredient of protein and is necessary for collagen synthesis and the growth and repair of cells. [Supplementing with MSM, separately, is also recommended.]

Calcium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) (2) is a regulator of collagen synthesis and works with MSM to further enhance its benefits.

Manganese is a mineral that performs the important function of assisting in the synthesis of cartilage and connective tissue, and in the formation of the cartilage matrix.
